01Context
An open-source MIDI visualization and piano-practice application. I developed a fork to run natively on macOS and support the way I practice.
02My scope
First I ported the app to macOS, then rebuilt the UI and added features that fit the way I practise.
03Solution
Added section practice with a count-in and metronome, session summaries showing errors and weak sections, tools for repeating difficult bars, and persistent practice history. I rebuilt the practice interface around these workflows.
04Result / status
A native macOS Apple Silicon build with a redesigned practice interface and tools for focused practice and tracking progress. The original open-source project is linked below; my fork is not publicly accessible.
